Damian A. Tamburri M.Sc. is a Ph.D. researcher at VU University Amsterdam. He holds a double M.Sc. in Global Software Engineering and Software Architectures. He began his research career early, before the end of his B.Sc. thesis specifying the architecture of the DUALLy Framework, now published in “Transactions in Software Engineering” (TSE) Journal. He was selected as a researcher for the European Space Agency (ESA), where he developed the “methodology from ground systems harmonization through RoundTrip Engineering (RTE)”, published in AIAA SpaceOps 2008. Damian participated in the European Network of Excellence on Services and Software, S-Cube, as a full-time member.
His current research interests are is in Complex Adaptive systems such as Organizational Social Structures in Global Software Engineering, or Agile Service Networks, Socio-Technical Congruence and Agile Methods In Global Software Engineering. Damian is a member of the Amsterdam Network Institute, ACM and IEEE.
